The topic of the discussion was based on the idea that the gray in my beard outta be covered cause it adds several extra years.

Huh? Are you serious?

First of all, it’s not your place. Especially one who waxes his entire body once a month. That right there is more enough of a reason 2 keep opinions 2 self. (I don’t know about you but that’s just way undudely). Waxin’ your body? Sheeesh!! ;/

And secondly, the “Salt and Pepper” look is a sign of sheer confidence & wisdom beyond years. It’s a constant reminder that all is better from A to Z.

Yep, yep….& you expect me 2 use a hair coloring kit? Yeah right!

Maybe you outta consider laying off that fried chicken with gravy @ 3 in the morning (with a triple chin 2 match) before worrying about someone else’s gray. Lmao!

Anyways, I’ve had the pleasure of watching Khalid evolve from a boy 2 a young man. Though only 12, he’s been able 2 establish healthy friendships & interesting social networks….(with his ps3…lol:) As simple as it may appear, it’s really an invaluable life lesson on communication & people.

Oh yeah…it’s been great spending quality time with the immediate family this past season. I was able 2 catch up 2 speed on a few things since the passing of sister Vivian & in a strange kinda way, it’s been very…..lets see..THERAPEUTIC..2 say the least.

Maybe I outta get back into some extra writing from here on out. There’s an exodus coming about & a new habit is needed.

There’s definitely an interesting new chapter over the horizon & I’m ready for the unexpected…..so bring it!

It’s not always easy findin’ the rhyme in all our reason. Sometimes we feel beaten down by words of those who have no grounds.

Sleepin’ beneath the trees of wisdom where an ax has purposely cut the roots that feed them. Now it’s up 2 us 2 find the truth. Dayum!

Forked tongues seem 2 be out in full force which can drive a man to bleed from the inside out. Is this your truest intent? If so, then why?

Now what if we avenge with an eye for an eye?

Would you like that?

Now we’ve seen the wicked fruit that seeks 2 destroy those who lack a strong mind.

Now a vengeful heart is inspired.

Our stage is shared by many many who lift their hands cause they feel this….

We are one We are strong so the more you hold us down the more we press on.

Can’t hold the hate inside our minds ‘cause what consumes your thoughts controls your life so we’ll just ask a question…

The past few years have been an adventure for us both.

An adventure that has taught us about self, our limitations & the awesome will 2 win….together.

This isn’t a simple mathematical equation but one of great substance with open hearts & minds.

Within this screwed matrix of life, would one prefer 2 do navigate together other than alone?

To admit this simple truth makes it all the easier & that’s much more than a mere OK…

So in the meanwhile, we’ll keep this movin’ in the direction of revelation & truth cause together we “Stand”.

Can’t believe the summer is dayum near over & the year more than half done. Time surely flies when things are movin’. (funny:)

Still lookin’ for the next big idea which seems 2 happens when least expect. The best stuff is the true stuff & that’s cool.

Me & the crew have been pretty much in relaxation mode & prefered 2 keep it indoors as of lately. I don’t know about you but bravin’ 103 degree plus temps isn’t our thing.

Thank God for A/C’s. Whew!

New plans on the horizon & in the process of making changes & taking some necessary risk. Chances that include travel. (hmmm…lets see how this one goes.)

There comes a point in life when you gottta make choices & that can be horrifying….

but then again, without em’ nothing moves.

Time will tell.

There’s always something 2 talk about.

There’s no question that time continues on so it’s certainly best 2 move along with it.
Life presents itself with purpose regardless of the wrong or right so make it known in your own special way. There’s no making time stop – it waits for no one new.

You can’t turn it off so participate in the game before time “MARCHES” on without you….

“Absence making the heart grow fonder” is one quote that holds some sort of validity. Personal reflection is necessary 2 regroup & re-evelauate the present position in life. Looking back over the past year one very important lesson learned is 2 appreciate the NOW & eliminate the regret later. Nothing really seem as important when looking & the ultimate picture so embrace the moment before it’s “GONE”….for good.
