….and you call yourself a Maverick?

There’s that damn word again: Maverick. The word so often used to describe the republican ticket.

But seriously folks, looking at their track record and blatant inconsistencies, would that be a bit of a stretch?

The Mavericks, a proud Texas family that were known for its progressive politics since the 1600’s. The name maverick came to mean anyone who didn’t bear another brand or in this case, policies. Correct me if I’m wrong but is McCain known to follow current president Bush’s policies? So how could anyone remotely close consider this republican ticket Mavericks? If you ask me, they’re more of a joke.

Stutterin’ Paulson

I’ve always been able to pin point when someone was totally lying. Sweaty forehead, unwilling to look into a persons eyes and last but not least…stuttering. Well recently U.S Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson was stu-stu-stu-stu-stutterin’ his azz off as he made a weak attempt to explain the bailout situation and how it would affect the average U.S citizen. Let’s just say there was some serious disconnect going on in front of the american public. I don’t feel very comfortable with this guy at the helm. D-D-D-D-Do y-y-you?…
